Enterprise-grade multi-cell DECT base plus one W73H handset, expandable to 60 handsets total per system, gigabit ethernet with PoE, redundant base chaining, seamless roaming. The W90P is the cordless solution for large facilities — hospitals, hotels, multi-floor enterprise offices where 30+ DECT handsets need to roam reliably.
The W90P is Yealink's enterprise multi-cell DECT bundle — designed for large deployments where the 30-handset cap of the W76P is the bottleneck. The W90B base supports up to 60 simultaneously registered handsets and scales further by chaining additional W90B units for whole-campus coverage. Hospitals, hotels, distribution centers, and multi-building corporate campuses are the target.
Where it earns the $250 over the W76P: handset capacity, mostly. If your deployment will exceed 30 handsets the W76P literally cannot support it — you need the W90P. The W90B base also has more robust failover behavior, better support for large concurrent-call loads, and tighter integration with Yealink's enterprise management tools.
Where the deployment complexity becomes real: at 60 handsets across a large building, you are deploying 6-8 W90B bases with carefully planned cell overlap, configuring DECT channel allocation to avoid interference, and likely working with a Yealink-certified integrator for the initial site survey. This is not a plug-and-play deployment. Budget the professional services accordingly.
Where to skip it: any deployment under 30 handsets. The W76P at $250 less handles everything up to 30 endpoints with the same handset hardware. The W90P's incremental value only kicks in above that threshold.

Plug the W90P into PoE and ethernet. About a minute later it has registered to your extension. Same auto-provisioning flow as every other supported phone — no SIP credentials to type, no firmware to chase.
Boot, fetch config from our provisioning server, register, ready. About one minute on a normal connection.
Multi-line per phone. Each line key has a dual-color LED for status at a glance.
Programmable mapped from the voip.army portal — BLF, paging, parking, transfer destinations.
Bringing your own? Send us the MAC, factory-reset, plug in. No charge to add it to the fleet.
Standard PoE — any 802.3af-compliant switch from the last 15 years powers the phone without an adapter.
Tested against every Yealink firmware release for W90P. We catch regressions before they reach your fleet.
Tell us how many you need and what extensions to map. We ship pre-configured next business day; you plug them in and they work.
