Wireless DECT-based conference phone with built-in rechargeable battery, full 360° pickup, 4-inch touchscreen, designed to be carried between rooms without setup. The CP935W solves the 'we have eight different conference rooms and only buy one phone' problem.
The CP935W is a genuinely unusual product: a fully wireless DECT-based conference phone with a battery. Pair it with a W80B or W90 DECT base station and the phone becomes a roaming endpoint you can carry between rooms, set on the table, and start a call without plugging in anything. For organizations with multiple meeting spaces but only conference-call traffic in one at a time, this consolidates equipment dramatically.
Where it earns its $599: a multi-room facility (law firm with five small meeting rooms, medical office with three exam-room conference setups, training center with rotating spaces) that would otherwise need to either buy a CP920 for each room ($2,000 for four rooms) or live with portable Bluetooth speakers that do not integrate with the SIP system. The CP935W's roaming model handles all of those rooms with one device.
Where the model breaks down: high-traffic dedicated boardrooms. If a single conference room hosts a meeting every hour all day, a wired CP965 or CP925 is more reliable than the wireless CP935W — battery management becomes a daily issue and DECT can be flaky in environments with heavy interference. The CP935W is for the multi-room flexibility use case specifically.
Requires a W80B (multi-cell) or W90 (enterprise multi-cell) DECT base station to operate, sold separately. Existing W76P / W78P bases also work in compatibility mode. For greenfield deployments, plan the base station purchase together.

Plug the CP935W into PoE and ethernet. About a minute later it has registered to your extension. Same auto-provisioning flow as every other supported phone — no SIP credentials to type, no firmware to chase.
Boot, fetch config from our provisioning server, register, ready. About one minute on a normal connection.
Multi-line per phone. Each line key has a dual-color LED for status at a glance.
Programmable mapped from the voip.army portal — BLF, paging, parking, transfer destinations.
Bringing your own? Send us the MAC, factory-reset, plug in. No charge to add it to the fleet.
Standard PoE — any 802.3af-compliant switch from the last 15 years powers the phone without an adapter.
Tested against every Yealink firmware release for CP935W. We catch regressions before they reach your fleet.
